Manor Farm Community Hub announce Fun Day

Manor Farm Community Hub are very happy to announce that the Funday is now confirmed for Saturday, July 8th

FUNDAY ON THE FARM ON 8TH JULY WITH CHURCHES TOGETHER at HORFIELD PRIMARY SCHOOL

Manor Farm Community Hub are very happy to announce that the Funday is now confirmed for Saturday, July 8th in the grounds of Horfield School.

This time we are running it in collaboration with North Bristol Churches Together which also gives six local places of worship including Horfield C of E, Horfield Methodists, St Mary’s Lockleaze, the URC on Muller Road, Upper Horfield’s Eden Grove and St Gregory’s a chance to showcase their own individual work in and with their congregations via their groups ranging from Brownies to Bus trips and worship to Walking Groups !

We are really looking forward to partnering in this way as both work/paperwork and running costs will be shared. The core Hub groups is also grateful to Horfield School PTA who are going to loan us some of their equipment/sideshows. We’re aiming to feature a bouncy castle, talent show for all ages, table top sale, live music from local home-grown talent, hot foods and of course tea and homemade cakes.

However, to make this day a real success and put the maximum FUN into the FARM on that date we need community involvement before and on the day. Firstly we will still have some costs to meet and we would love it if people could come on board and join us on Friday 26th May from 12.00 to 6.00 pm for an hour or two or as long as you want at Tescos Golden Hill to fundraise by bagpacking – please contact Anna on (my usual details ) for more details. We will also be appealing via the Facebook page and again in the June edition of the magazine for people to donate raffle prizes, sign up for table top sale and volunteer to help out on the day on a stall or bake something for us to serve on the day.

Also contact Anna with new ideas of what you would like to see this time round too  and if possible we will accommodate it as our community deserves the best we can lay on with the resources we have.
