Manor Farm fun day raises £60

“MFCH is pleased to report that on the basis of figures currently available at time of writing the day made a modest profit of around 60.00 … which is good going on what was very much a shoestring budget.

I should also like to mention that even this would not have been possible without the generosity of Tescos Golden Hill with a donation of a 50.00 voucher, Warburtons for donating the BBQ rolls, and the Coop on Filton Road for donating all the chocco prizes for Choccolotto and a shopping voucher, plus a range of amazing cakes and raffle/Tombola prizes from friends and neighbours of the committee and the wider Manor Farm and school community.

Many thanks also to local hostelries the Beehive, Inn on the Green and the Crafty Cow, Italian restaurants Homebites and Zankeys,  and also Horfield Leisure Centre for Swim and Gym vouchers for our raffle

Thanks also to Daltons butchers for the meat voucher raffle prize and the great deal on our BBQ sausages and

The day could also not have happened without  my loyal Core Committee of Ann, Cait, Pam and Derek, and Geoff from Churches, and all of the people I eventually recruited to man all our stalls, for which I was especially grateful since as most of you will know illness prevented my being there in person … you were all fantastic  !!! “
