Are you ready for Universal Credit?
Universal Credit started its roll out across North Bristol from 18 July 2018.
North Bristol Advice Centre has produced a practical information sheet on Getting Ready for Universal Credit that outlines what people need to do before making a claim. A copy is attached here; please share with anyone who may find it useful, or include in any upcoming publications you have for clients or service users.
A copy can be downloaded from the new Self Help Resources page of our website, which includes a range of useful factsheets and website links: http://www.northbristoladvice.org.uk/get-advice/types-of-advice
In addition, we will be holding an Information Event on Tuesday 11 September at The Cameron Centre in Lockleaze. The morning session will be an update on Universal Credit; the afternoon session will be a briefing on the rights of EU citizens in the UK. A light vegetarian lunch will be served in between. This event is for frontline workers.
