Saturday opening coming to the Old Library
The Old Library in Muller Road are set to break new ground by opening on Saturdays for the first time.
The 100% volunteer-led facility is currently open on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am until 4pm. They say, “super excited to say that as we have a lovely team of 8 people so far who have come forwards to volunteer to open up on a Saturday, it's all looking like weekends will be full steam ahead! The plan will be a 10am - 2pm opening, weekly from the first weekend of March.
“This will enable pairs of people to be on a rota one weekend a month, and ensure there is plenty of cover for when people are away or have other engagements, plus enable all the volunteers to come and enjoy the space whilst not working there too”!
They are still on a call out for Friday afternoon support too - you may have noticed them closing the doors early recently, as when one person isn't available they don't have any backups! Do give them a shout if you might be able to get involved?
Wake up your weekends with their new Old Library Yoga classes! Saturday 8:30-9.30am, run by volunteer yoga trainee teachers, just £3, with all funds going towards the Old Library! Book your space asap at firstname.lastname@example.org

The struggling superhero, the stranded space explorer or the crazy-haired cavewoman! With puppets, singing, dancing and games galore, join Monkey Trousers Theatre on a fantastic new interactive adventure for 1 to 6 year olds.
10.30am start. Doors and cafe open from 10.15am. The show lasts approximately 45 minutes, and is suitable for children aged one to six years old.
