The buzz about Buzz

The development of the new Buzz Lounge is well under way!

Bespoke glass doors are being installed allowing the summer sunshine to beam into our new seating area where customers enjoy better access our beautiful Buzz growing garden. We’ll also have outside seating so you can enjoy your food and drinks with a whole new view! We are in need of some new wooden tables to furnish the Lounge and are currently trying to raise the money through our Local Giving page, if you are able to donate anything we’d very much appreciate it – and Local Giving will match fund us up to £250! Go to to donate.

Buzz will be hosting a FREE 6 week Cooking Course, in partnership with Community Learning, covering the basics of nutrition and healthy cooking on a budget. The course starts on Monday 11th June 10am-12.30pm, give us a call to book a place. If you don’t manage to get a space on this course don’t worry, Buzz will soon be launching our own Cooking Club which will allow participants to cook together, learn the basics of cooking and nutrition and develop recipes.

We have been having a great time at the weekly Games Club sessions and would love you to come along and give it a go! It’s every Wednesday 4pm – 6pm at the Café and it’s free, open to all and a great chance to socialise and have fun.

Fancy putting that green thumb to good use? We run our Gardening Club every Wednesday 10am – 12pm in the Buzz garden, and we welcome any new members who would like to help out and learn more about gardening and growing. Talk to David in the shop or call us to find out more.

We are looking forward to Volunteers Week where we will be celebrating with NBAC and having a Tea Party at Buzz for all our volunteers, to thank them for all their hard work and dedication.
