What's going on at The Vench?

LPW run a free Open Access Play for children aged 8-13 every Thursday and Friday from 3:30pm to 6:30pm

The sessions allow children to meet, play and learn in both an exciting and safe environment. Children younger than 8 years are welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult. During the holidays the play sessions will be extended and run from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Additionally, for those aged 11-17 years you are invited to join Creative Youth Networks Open Access Youth sessions every Wednesday throughout the year from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

A little reminder for our little seedlings learning courses, we have 6 free weekly sessions starting from Saturday 9th of March. Come along from 10-1pm and take the opportunity to learn about growing food and local woodland and wildlife, whilst meeting other parents and children in family friendly environment.

If you are looking for an exciting space to host a children’s birthday party, The Vench has your answer! Our adventure playground is available for you to either host your own party or to choose one of our party packages. We have a range of different packages to choose from including the Woodland Adventure, Arts and Crafts, Sports Parties and many more. All of which will be hosted by an enthusiastic and DBS checked host.

In addition to all the exciting activities happening at The Vench, we are offering a variety of spaces for both short-term and long-term hire at reasonable rates which are suitable for activities ranging from meetings, workshops and more. Our spaces include everything from the adventure playground to the kitchen and meeting rooms.
