Public meeting on the Stoke Park improvement works, the Hub, 7pm.

July 5

Local running club Town and Country Harriers' Summer city 10k trail race in Stoke Park, Thursday 5th July at  7.15pm (registration from 6pm)

• Start by the fishing lake

• Covers the whole length of the park

• Nearly all off-road

• Parkland & woodland

• Lots of tough little climbs

• Two crazy descents!

Dovercourt Townswomen's guild meet first Thursday of each month  at Horfield United Reformed church hall, Muller Road, from 2 to 4. Please come and meet us, a small group of mature ladies, we enjoy talks, arts and crafts, occasional trips out and socialising.

ThinkTank at the Old Library 7.30pm “Who am I, Where am I?”, part two with Steve Smith, Biblical thought is largely ignored in the modern era. Steve revisits some fascinating themes and with fresh insight asks the question, “How then should we live?”

July 9

Monthly matinee at the Hub showing The Greatest Showman. Join them for a relaxing afternoon film and a slice of cake. Refreshments 50p, entry now £1,  1-3pm

July 10

Board games night at the Old Library. Free, bring your own drink & bring your own friends or join with others, 7.30pm

July 12

Tea and talk with Community Support at Home for the Over 55s at the Langley Centre, 2pm featuring poetry reading.

Lockleaze Residents Planning Group meeting, Buzz Cafe, 7.30pm.

Henry V: A Librarian Theatre production at the Old Library, 8pm. Tickets £8 adults, £5 concessions

July 14

Community Gardening at the Old Library. Sow, grow and make the Old Library garden grow. Ample tea for all! 10am-12noon

Stoke Park litter pick. Meet at the Cameron Centre at 10.30am. All equipment provided.

July 17

Quiz Night at the Old Library, 7pm. Teams of up to six, £2 per person. Bring your own drinks and snacks.

July 18

Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust AGM at the Hub, 6pm. Find out what's happening in your community and how Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust will continue to support the community over the coming years. All welcome.

July 24

Circle Dance evening at the Old Library at 7.30pm. Warm informal gentle dance with music from around the world. Get moving! All Abilities. £5
